Job Description

The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is growing rapidly. The OCI footprint has grown over 400% in the last 2 years and is on track to exceed that growth trend in the next 2 years. The OCI organization is the physical infrastructure support team that provides operational, logistical and compliance support for Oracle Data Center’s globally.

The Program Management, Audit, Security & Safety Team (PASS) provides compliance services for Audit, Physical Security, Access Management, and Environment, Health & Safety for the OCI organization. The PASS team operates at a global scale supporting all stages of the data center lifecycle from market selection through build to operations and ultimately, decommission.

The Role – Security & Safety Program Manager

Program Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Security and Safety Program Manager, specializing in data center operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing security or safety programs and services throughout the entire data center lifecycle. Your primary focus will be on supporting service partner management and ensuring Build compliance. You will also be responsible for tracking Continuous Monitoring activities and Risk Assessment through our JIRA Ticket Management system.

As a Security & Safety Program Manager, you will collaborate closely with Service Partners to delivery effective communication and service delivery among diverse groups with varying priorities and work methodologies in addition to diverse geographic locations. Your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills will be crucial in connecting individuals and fostering collaborative efforts.

You will play a pivotal role in providing clarity of mission for site-level folks, as well as educational support and valuable insights related to Security and Safety matters. This will involve educating team members and stakeholders on best practices, raising awareness about potential risks, and offering guidance to enhance overall Security & Safety measures.

The ideal candidate for this position is proactive, driven, and results oriented. This is not a Specialist role - it is centered on Program Management and the delivery of Services (process-focused). We are looking for someone who thrives on identifying program gaps and enabling the best, most user-friendly solutions for our internal and external customers. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong problem-solving abilities. Your ability to effectively collaborate with remote teams and provide educational support will be essential in ensuring compliance and maintaining a safe working environment within our data centers.

Responsibilities

Required Skills/Experience The Ideal Candidate

  • The right candidate(s) will demonstrate a strong ability to navigate rapidly changing work scope and the ability to lead with experience and expertise.

  • Be familiar with Physical Security, Safety or Access Management compliance requirements.

  • Work as a point of coordination for gathering data and information related to ticket management within the build phases, continuous monitoring, or risk management areas.

  • Have a working understanding of security system equipment ranging from Access Control and CCTV.

  • Drive notification, reporting, escalation, and resolution of risk or incidents within OCI.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience relevant to the function area

  • 1-2 years of program management experience

  • 1-2 years of audit/compliance/physical security experience

  • Ability to work with diverse groups across multiple time zones and countries

  • Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence

  • Proficient in MS Office Tools

  • Project and relationship management skills

  • Be comfortable with ambiguity, consistent change, and strong critical thinking skills

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $74,100 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
