Summary of Position

SANS is seeking a Quality Control Tester to join our team within the Digital business unit. We are passionate about the belief that quality built into products should meet every required standard before reaching the first consumer. Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with 100% remote team to complete all assigned work correctly and on-time

  • Collaborate and build strong working relationships with peers through tools like Slack to foster a professional and positive environment.

  • Take independent initiative to review posted work opportunities to indicate availability and interest.

  • Immediately escalate issues that impede testing to the Quality Engineer.

  • Follow given instructions accurately and completely for the assigned project without digressions.

  • Maintain awareness of and communicate to team any systemic improvement opportunities.

  • Attend at least one QC Team tester meeting per quarter either in person or by reviewing a recording.

  • Complete periodic assigned training and assessments as required to ensure strong contribution to team members’ high level of excellence.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills, Experience and Education

  • Excellent written/spoken English.

  • High school diploma or Equivalent.

  • Technical C­­ertifications, such as GIACs or other accredited training, is a plus, but not required

  • Must possess excellent communication skills.

  • Sharp attention to detail.

  • Team player.

  • Honesty and a strong work ethic.

  • Aptitude to learn quickly and effectively.

  • Ability to remain focused in a remote, team-oriented environment

Reporting Relationships

This position reports directly to the Senior Quality Assurance Manager. This position is a 1099 position.

Work Environment

This is a 100% remote work environment with no travel required.

The hourly rate for this position is between $25 -$30 per hour . Base hourly pay may vary by geographic location and relevant experience, education, certifications, and years of experience. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
