Job Summary:

  • Gives direct patient care and coordinates delivery of health care within the patient care area. Assists physician with patient treatment as directed.
  • Answer patients' calls and determine how to assist them.
  • Supervise nurses' aides or assistants.
  • Evaluate nursing intervention outcomes, conferring with other healthcare team members as necessary.
  • Work as part of a healthcare team to assess patient needs, plan and modify care, and implement interventions.
  • Record food and fluid intake and output.
  • Assemble and use equipment, such as catheters, tracheotomy tubes, or oxygen suppliers.

Minimum Qualifications:

Florida LPN Nursing License or Florida Board of Nursing status as Graduate Practical Nurse. Basic Life Support Certification. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Must be able to navigate a software program with a keyboard and mouse.
