Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team as a Technical Program Manager Intern. As an intern Technical Program Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our technical projects, ensuring they are executed effectively, and assisting in the overall program management processes. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while contributing to our product development programs or process improvement initiatives.

Key job responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating and managing technical projects

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and design, to ensure project goals are met within specified timelines.

  • Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.

  • Track project progress, identify risks, and proactively address issues to keep projects on track.

  • Assist in organizing and facilitating meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting meeting minutes.

  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of project documentation, including status reports, project plans, and technical specifications.

  • Support the Technical Program Managers in various administrative tasks related to project management.

  • Learn and apply program management best practices to real-world projects.

A day in the life

As an Intern Technical Program Manager, your day starts with reviewing project updates and coordinating with cross-functional teams in morning meetings. Throughout the day, you engage in project planning, updating timelines, and monitoring progress, ensuring seamless execution. You actively participate in process improvement brainstorming sessions, contribute to internal programs fostering innovation, and collaborate with colleagues during mentorship meetings. Networking during lunch breaks and casual conversations with team members provide insights into the company culture. Your day concludes with summarizing project achievements, updating documentation, and reflecting on valuable experiences, ready to tackle new challenges tomorrow.

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in pre-final year of Bachelor or above degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • Availability to complete a 3-month full time internship during summer holiday.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master or above degree is preferred.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and software is a plus.

  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to technical projects and process improvement initiatives.

  • Understanding of software development and project management concepts is a plus.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (Chinese and English)

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Self-motivated and proactive

  • Previous internship experience

  • Past experience or coursework in project management
