Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a robust product quality management strategy to ensure the data center hardware is manufactured at the highest level of quality standards.

  • Manage multiple pre NPI to Sustain cloud server product quality and provide phase-gate deliverables for the manufacturing team throughout the engineering development lifecycle, from concept through production readiness.

  • Lead quality issues or improvement taskforce to contain, mitigate, and resolve the top-quality issues impacting global data centers.

  • Establish Critical-to-Quality performance metrics to measure and improve product quality.

  • Lead the team to identify the potential product quality risk and drive the continuous improvement process based on Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and identified opportunities.

  • To conduct system failure analysis by work with cross organizational teams globally.

  • Act as the voice of quality in the hardware change management process, ensuring quality requirements are considered and met.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science.

  • Minimum of 3 years of direct engineering experience in PCBA hardware issue solving.

  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in managing product quality in the electronic industry.

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams and drive a call to action.

  • Deep understanding of root cause analysis and corrective action methods to identify contributing factors of production defects.

  • Strong communication and project management skills.

  • Either one of the below skillsets: layout review/Valor tools/DFM/DFQ/mechanical simulation/CPU socket design

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in Electronics.

  • 10+ years of working experience in the electronics industry or design quality for the cloud server industry.

  • Familiarity with data center environments, including infrastructure, networking, power distribution, and repair processes and procedures.
