Job Summary

  • This role is responsible for collaborating with design teams to create and execute reliability plans, leading design for reliability efforts on assigned products, and analyzing field quality data to prevent failures and improve equipment issue detection. The role involves developing and executing reliability experiments, conducting reliability tests, and providing failure analysis with recommended corrective actions. The role plans and executes maintenance for equipment, collaborates on a reliability-centered maintenance program, and ensures equipment reliability through various monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

  • Works with design teams to develop and execute project reliability plan, including test plans, and reviews product design changes for impact to reliability.

  • Leads design for reliability efforts on assigned products; collaborates with the development team to ensure products are designed for optimal quality and reliability.

  • Develops and executes reliability experiments, analyzing results and incorporating findings into reliability models.

  • Drives the execution of reliability tests, delivers results on schedule, and reviews the results to ensure accuracy and highlight issues faced, if any.

  • Provides failure analysis from reliability testing, conducts root cause identification and recommendeds corrective actions

  • Analyzes field quality data to identify areas for prevention of failure and improved detection of equipment issues.

  • Plans and executes critical, routine, and preventative maintenance for equipment, both existing and newly commissioned, to maintain operational efficiency.

  • Collaborates with multiple stakeholders to develop a robust reliability-centered maintenance program.

  • Ensures equipment reliability through vendor-based maintenance solutions and predictive/condition monitoring systems.

  • Liaises with internal and external stakeholders to identify durability and reliability concerns; prioritizes and addresses these concerns on a daily basis.

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Electrical, Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Sciences, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

  • Typically has 8+ years of work experience, preferably in reliability modeling and analysis, root cause analysis
