Job Description Summary

GE Grid Automation (GA) is looking for a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) – Critical Infrastructure Communications (CIC), who will be responsible for communication business growth in China, East Asia Pacific (CEAP) region. He/she will be working with CIC Segment Growth Leader, GA Product Sales Specialist (PSS) and technical application team in the region, within the frame of strategy, business plan, budgets and policies defined for the CEAP Region. He/she will implement the actions for the growth and orders monthly, quarterly & yearly targets.

This role reports to GE GA CIC Segment Sales Leader – CEAP

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Implement CIC sales strategy to drive growth and market penetration

  • Implement Go to Market and channel development strategy with strong collaboration with PSS

  • Deliver commercial results for the assigned countries in the CEAP Region, including financial & market share objectives, managing key commercial performance indicators such as order intake, margin

  • Own the accuracy of orders, commitment forecast at the country level

  • Ensure the development of new leads and market opportunities in the assigned countries

  • Outline, present and sell the value of CIC products/solutions that can benefit our customer needs

  • Work directly with channel partners/end-users to influence specifications and close key deals

  • Provide an essential link from the channel partners/end-users to commercial operations, marketing, engineering and product development teams

  • Ensure the Speak is utilized and updated timely by all stakeholders to its full capacity

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in telecommunications or other engineering field

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales activities in the telecommunications field, commercial customer knowledge and established relationships

  • Fluent in English (speaking & writing skills)

  • Willingness and ability to travel

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to make effective customer technical presentations

  • Work efficiently without direct supervision
