Job Description

The Protein Analysis TSS operates within the Biosciences Division (BID) and has the responsibility for sales across a focused portfolio of products in the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will apply sales experience, knowledge of relevant scientific fields, product expertise, market intelligence, and territory leadership skills to grow sales and profitability. You will be recognized as a technical leader in driving strategic objectives and adoption of new products within the sales force.

The ideal candidate can be based anywhere within APJ.

What will you do?

  • Selling and promoting the Protein detection and quantitation and detection plate readers portfolios across a defined territory

  • Drive business growth through the development of new business and by growing business with current customers

  • Put customers first - Respond efficiently to customer requests, explore customer business goals and be a technical resource.

  • Establish technical credibility and develop relationships with accounts and colleagues.

  • Apply technical and business knowledge to present an attractive value proposition to customers.

  • Work within a broader sales team and engage with multiple internal collaborators

  • Attend Trade Exhibitions to generate leads and prospects for the company’s products

  • Develop and implement technology seminars applicable to the account research focus

  • Collect, process, and disseminate market feedback and competitive intelligence to support evolution of our product offerings

  • Accept and adapt to change quickly while remaining effective and efficient

  • Independently balance multiple tasks in parallel and prioritize workload

  • Manage employee development, train and promote growth and development.

  • Field travel is required (50% or more)

Requirements/Qualifications

  • 6+ years of technical/commercial relevant experience in Protein Analysis
