RUCKUS Networks is hiring a Principal Software Engineer who will work closely with our team in Taipei!

How You'll Help Us Connect the World

We're looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with cryptography expertise to strengthen to join our team! This role involves designing, developing, and testing secure embedded software solutions, working collaboratively to integrate security features. Responsibilities include implementing cryptographic algorithms and security protocols, developing secure boot mechanisms, testing for reliability and security, optimizing performance in conjunction with hardware engineers, selecting cryptographic libraries, staying updated on industry advancements, applying security standard methodologies, addressing customer security needs, and providing technical support to multi-functional teams.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • At least 10+ years of experience in embedded software

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or related fields

  • Strong proficiency in C and C++ for embedded systems

  • Familiarity with Linux and Unix operating systems

  • Understanding of hardware-software integration and real-time OS

You Will Excite Us If You Have:

  • Proven experience in embedded software development with a focus on cryptography and security

  • Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms and protocols like X.509, PKI, AES, RSA, and SHA

  • Experience with secure boot, key management, and secure communication in embedded systems

  • Knowledge of industry-specific embedded systems security standards

  • Familiarity with IoT security and ARM architecture
