Job Description

OBJECTIVE:

Responsible for business objectives for Rare disease field. Builds strong relationships with key decision makers in buying organizations that meet the objectives of the multi-source sales and marketing strategy. Work with customer facing team to define and manage the overall strategic direction. Responsible for developing and evaluating selling strategies to ensure solid execution of the market plan.

Deliver and collect market insight to supportive functions to develop TA and products long term strategy. Strong internal and external cross function collaboration capabilities.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Develops, implements, and manages field sales strategies in conjunction with Marketing, Medical, VD&A and Patient service function. Analyze results and modifies strategies as necessary to align with the plan.

  • Make field visits and establish strong relationships with key decision makers and committees within buying organizations.

  • Strong degree of teamwork, mutual support and practical experience inheritance, and a high degree of mobility.

  • Directs the collection and analysis of market data. Utilizes qualitative and quantitative data to develop short- and long- range sales forecast budgets and support MKT/MA/MAP key projects implementation.

  • Precise monitoring and report competitive activity, including all competitive bids at formal bid openings and HPs listing process.

  • Responsible for providing a rolled-up forecast with opinion from the regions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree required, major in medical related field or equivalent is preferred.

  • Freshman or 1-3 years of experience in Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical, or Life Sciences business required.

  • Experience in the field of Genetics, Cardiology, Neurology related rare diseases is preferred.

  • Can be received to transport two or three areas is preferred.

  • Strong ambition in achieving stretched goals and market demand forecasting accuracy desired.

  • The individual must have strong business acumen and negotiation skills as well as strategic selling skills.

  • A hunger to learn and ability to adapt to changes

  • Good command in English both verbal and written

  • Open mind, innovative and positive thinking

  • Excellent presentation & communication skills

  • Possess an in-depth working knowledge of rare disease products.

  • Good computer skills (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
