Bentley Systems License Compliance Data Analyst in Taipei, Taiwan

Job Description

The License Compliance Analyst researches and profiles leads for the License Compliance team. This includes using internal databases such as information on usage, entitlements, and contracts, as well as external resources available on the web such as corporate databases, industry research, and product demands. The goal of these exercises is to maximize the legalization opportunity of the non-compliant behavior of the target organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Gather and integrate data relating to customer contracts and entitlements.

  • Investigate software intelligence data, including but not limited to information collected from legal software installations and illegal piracy software installations.

  • Search on the web for organizational details including but not limited to their size, activities, customer base, and job advertisements.

  • Enter gathered data into the License Compliance force.com database and maintaining its accuracy and completeness.

  • Communicate investigation results to the License Compliance representatives, and provide insight where necessary based on the findings.

  • Assist the License Compliance team in conducting market research and competitive analysis.

  • Assist the Data Operations team with various investigative tasks related to non-compliant organizations.

Skills & Qualifications

  • General knowledge of IT fundamentals on business networks and understanding of corporate domain name structures, name server, DNS, IP address, and physical machine address data.

  • Proficiency in performing online research and capacity to leverage external resources, including: WhoIs tools, port scanning, Google Maps, DNS databases, LinkedIn, and other on-line business directories.

  • Proficiency in computing programming languages such as SQL and Python for data extraction and analysis.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, teamwork skills, with willingness to work across worldwide time zones.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and patience while handling large amounts of data.

  • Knowledge of force.com application environment or salesforce.com, a plus.

  • Knowledge of regional corporate databases, a plus.

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
