Amazon Data Center Office Administrator in Taipei, Taiwan

Description

We are looking for a well-organized and self-motivated Office Administrator to join our TPE Infrastructure Operations team. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, great organization and prioritization skills. The successful candidate will need to work at multiple office locations subject to the work arrangement. The Office Administrator is a key member of the team, and will help build effective working relationships inside and outside of the organization.

The ideal candidate should have a positive work ethic accompanied by a get-it-done attitude, be detail-oriented, a highly organized planner, and self-motivated to effectively and efficiently build working relationships while maintaining flexibility.

Key job responsibilities

• Perform general office administrative tasks, including but not limited to office housekeeping and inventory management, facilities and space management, office safety maintenance, environment hygiene coordination

• Provide support to recruitment and new hire onboarding process

• Assist on premise access management for internal staff, new hires and visitors

• Coordinate with third party vendors and internal procurement teams to support office purchase, delivery arrangements and service contract renewals

• Organize, execute, and assist with team activities and event management (Team meetings, All-Hands meetings, on-sites/off-sites, team social events, etc.)

• Coordinate closely with Procurement, Recruiting, Facilities, HR, IT, and other teams within the wider AWS community

• Take ownership of office coordination in expansion projects and relocation initiatives

• Implement new policies, procedures and programs in support of Business

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 2+ years administrative/office management experience

  • Excellent communication skills in Mandarin, and Good in written and verbal communication English

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, and to deal with professionals inside and outside the company

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Flexibility to work at multiple office locations outside of Taipei City

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience in working with cross-functional teams

  • Experience in identifying problems and building scalable processes to fix them

  • Consistent delivery on commitments - great organizational skills with exceptional follow-through, attention to detail and multi-tasking capability

  • Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment

  • Experience in a fast-paced and high-tech company
