Your Role and Responsibilities

Application Architects participate in analyzing the clients' legacy applications and surrounding systems, defining target application architectures with the adoption of integration and automation technology, and modernization strategies and execution plans for our clients. You will advise your clients to identify the most effective modernization approach and help modernize their legacy applications or build a completely new application stack using modern cloud native architectures with container platforms.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide end-to-end technical guidance and expertise; creatively applying Integration and automation solution to help solve business problems; and communicating these approaches to different business audiences in designated industries.

  • Ability to understand business problems, articulate a corresponding solution based on automation solution, build a value proposition, and establish a compelling reason to act.

  • Represent and facilitate architecture in discovery discussions with prospective clients, assess architecture needs for projects, and provide proposals.

  • Upon commencement of engagements, co-lead client workshops with Designers; influencing participants from all levels of our clients' organization to find the best outcomes and arrive at the architecture that will support the engagement.

  • Work with clients to identify business problems and provide innovative solutions to them while evangelizing and accelerating the adoption of current and future integration and automation technologies.

  • Explore and develop new technical skills and industry practices, while absorbing professional knowledge quickly and using demonstrated interpersonal skills.

  • Develop re-usable industry specific assets and demonstrations.

  • Lead overall architecture design and have the ability to be hands-on deliver service project.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 3+ years Solution Architect experience on system/application integration or automation solution

  • 5+ years programming experience on Java, SQL, C/C++, UML, Python, etc.

  • Familiar with Linux tools and sell scripting.

  • Familiar with API technology: Web Services, RESTful, JSON or automation technology such as BPM, Content management, Process mining, RPA, Decision management, etc.

  • The ability to effectively showcase and demonstrate solutions /technologies in a customer facing scenario.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Familiar with IBM product: WAS, MQ, DB2, APIC, ACE, BPM, FileNet, ODM, RPA

  • Familiar with container environment (OCP or K8s), and CI/CD experience

  • K8s/OCP architecture and key components

  • Understanding of K8s operator, OCP and K8S CLI

  • Administration and troubleshooting

  • Experience on Microservice consultant

  • Knowledge of KIBANA programming model to build dashboards.

  • Knowledge of Working with process and task mining programming models.

  • Knowledge of Bot Management
