Then come join us! Parts Sourcing – Electronics parts, Asia Reports to Supply Chain Manager. Position Summary The Sourcing position is responsible for Strategically Sourcing all proprietary e-system parts within the company. The candidate will oversee all phases of the Supply Chain / Sourcing, including supplier selection, identifying cost-saving opportunities, competitive pricing analysis, negotiating all pricing to ensure timely delivery of quality products, and overall supply chain management. Responsibilities: • Take overall responsibility for the strategic sourcing plan for all e-system parts to ensure that company goals are achieved. • Responsible for negotiations of best possible cost performance for all proprietary parts and tooling while managing sustainable relationships with suppliers. • Establish cost models using key commodity and industry data to ensure cost competitiveness. • Research and anticipate changes in the global supply chain, then create plan of action. • Maintain and develop supplier relationships (trade shows, supplier meetings, conferences, etc.) • Drive continuous improvements with key suppliers using metrics, performance goals and improvements initiatives. • Collaborate cross functionally to improve processes throughout the operational organization. • Develop macro level planning models with suppliers to satisfy product launch volumes. • Drive all supplier selection decisions for all newly developed parts. • Provide leadership role in all communications related to new product sourcing. Qualifications, Skills and Abilities • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three (3+) years of experience in purchasing and strategic sourcing of e-bike parts. • At least two (2+) years of relevant operations and supply chain experience. • Knowledge of e-bike system parts is required. • Experience with contract manufacturing vendors is essential. • Global sourcing experience is preferred. • Project management skills with the ability to establish clear goals and accountability to ensure successful delivery (on time, within budget, and meeting agreed-upon success criteria). • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
