Google Vendor Manager, Cloud Sales Vendor Management Organization in Taguig, Philippines

Minimum qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in management consulting, operations consulting, business development, or similar roles.

  • Experience in global vendor operations management, program and project management, shared services, or global business services.

  • Experience in sales go-to-market (GTM) in the information technology industry.

Preferred qualifications:

  • PMI or Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt).

  • COPC certified.

  • Experience executing complex strategic and operational initiatives, with excellent problem-solving and project management skills.

  • Experience with spreadsheet software, SQL, and data analysis tools.

  • Ability to adapt to dynamic, entrepreneurial environments, and successfully take projects from conception to launch with a focus on results.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management, site leadership, cross-functional teams, and vendor representatives across various levels.

As a Vendor Management for the Google Cloud Sales Vendor Management Organization (VMO), you will manage vendor operations that provide critical support to the Sales organization. You will oversee one or more vendors globally at large scale. You will help shape and execute a scalable and customer-centric vendor strategy, own vendor relationships, and oversee vendor delivery. You will build strong outcome-based operating governance structures that ensure vendors are delivering excellent quality of service. You will also partner with business leaders from Sales Operations to add value to their business goals and deliver on vendor requirements.

You will work closely with the Extended Workforce (xWS), Google Procurement Organization (GPO), Legal, and Engineering teams to drive standardized, scalable, and repeatable processes.

This role supports the North America region. Working hours will be on a night shift, with some flexibility possible depending on team needs.

  • Partner with assigned business groups as a trusted vendor management advisor, understanding needs and crafting effective vendor solutions. Execute the Vendor Management Organization’s strategic roadmap in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Manage vendor performance, partnering with stakeholders to optimize operations and ensure peak efficiency. Provide complete extended workforce onboarding support, including administrative tasks (e.g., SOW negotiations, PO management, etc.) and client escalations.

  • Use data to identify operational gaps, develop innovative solutions, and collaborate across functions to overcome challenges. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

  • Partner with global executives to implement complex strategic vendor management initiatives. Lead regular business reviews to proactively identify improvement areas, resolve issues, and build high-performing vendor teams.

  • Maintain weekly rigour on budget vs. forecast vs. actual spend and reporting accuracy. Manage vendor operations variance between forecast and actual spend.
