WTW Site Reliability Engineer in Taguig, Philippines

The Role

Our SRE/DevOps Engineering team combines software and systems engineering to ensure that our production systems are always performing optimally and efficiently.

SRE/DevOps Engineers are responsible for understanding how our systems interact with each other and for identifying opportunities and approaches to improve, optimize, and scale our solutions.

Our team utilizes an assortment of tools and technologies to accomplish their broad spectrum of objectives.

  • Deploy, maintain and manage Azure cloud-based production systems, to ensure the availability, performance, scalability and security of these systems

  • Automate menial tasks using scripting tools such as PowerShell

  • Build independent web-based tools solutions

  • Gain the skills necessary to be a full-stack engineer if not already possessed.

  • Help improve the quality of software by writing automated tests, and performing code reviews

  • Work and communicate effectively in an agile team environment

  • Mentor others on the team, but be open to others’ ideas

The Requirements

  • 2-3+ years' experience working with Azure cloud infrastructure, products, and services such as Azure Web App, Azure DevOps CI / CD, Resource Manager, Azure functions, Vault, Application Gateway, Azure VNETs, Azure Policies, Runbooks etc

  • 2+ years' experience using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Bicep, Pulumi, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Salt, Cloud Formation, etc

  • Knowledgeable with source code management tools (Git, Azure DevOps, TFS, etc)

  • Knowledgeable in any of the monitoring tools such as New Relic, App Insights, Splunk, App Dynamics ,etc

  • Experience in Front End Development tools (Html, CSS, Javascript)

  • Experience in Back End Development using C# and .Net Framework

  • Experience supporting container-based infrastructure on Azure (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, etc.)

  • Experience in Cloud Security, Application Security, SAST, and DAST tooling

  • Knowledgeable with Bash, PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages

  • Experience with relational SQL databases and other related technologies (MS SQL Server, Redis)

  • Ability to work independently without extensive oversight

  • Good communications and interpersonal skills

Nice to Have

  • General Azure Active Directory and LDAP Knowledge

  • Experience in implementing various deployment styles for distributed services

  • Any Azure certifications would be a plus (Azure DevOps / Azure Solutions Architect)
