Job Description

AECOM is seeking a R2A Sr. Specialist - FP&A & Reporting to be based in Manila, Philippines.

This role will primarily be responsible for processing, analyzing, and preparing reports on financial metrics periodically and assisting in the preparation of the outlook, forecast, and budgeting processes.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Perform assigned financial reporting requirements by providing analyses of financial data and preparing reports.

  • Assist in the preparation of the annual plan and budget.

  • Support in the preparation of monthly P&L forecasts and budget reporting

  • Assist in month-end processes by providing SG&A cost analyses and expense accrual summary reports.

  • Escalate issues and recommend resolutions to the team lead for timely resolution. May support junior members of the team in addressing routine issues within the assigned processes.

  • Maintain the SOP/DTP of current processes and incorporate documentation updates as required.

  • Perform moderately complex tasks in compliance with service level agreements, processes, policies, and procedures.

  • Propose alternatives to identified issues and assist in investigating and resolving common and unusual issues.

  • Contribute to various and simultaneous process improvement initiatives to streamline processes, improve the customer experience, and increase productivity.

  • Participate in audit-related activities.

  • Contribute specialized expertise to different assigned projects and may provide key updates to the team lead and manager.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent relevant courses

  • 4-5 years of relevant professional experience in Finance or Accounting

  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office tools

  • Working knowledge and understanding of accounting standards and procedures and internal controls.

  • Experience working with ERP, e.i., Oracle and Blackline Systems is an advantage or other similar platforms and tools
