WTW Business Intelligence Developer (Mid Shift) in Taguig, Philippines

The Role

  • Analyze and translate data into relevant business, actionable insights

  • Perform data mining including predictive analytics and trends analysis

  • Design and visualize new reports and online dashboards

  • Work directly with stakeholders to understand and document requirements

  • Communicate findings and collaborate with stakeholders

  • Create DAX scripts that will be used to calculate required metrics presented in dashboards

  • Support data collection, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of bugs

  • Create required documentation and ensure that it is clear, concise, and accurate

  • Participate in the development of the project roadmap

  • Work closely with the database architect, business analyst, and users to ensure timely and accurate delivery of development work

The Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in software development and support

  • Demonstrated proficiency with SQL and ability to develop queries

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Power BI

  • Experience in data analysis, data modeling, and visualization

  • Experience in Microsoft SQL Server and Visual Studio

  • Strong communication skills

  • Experience in handling multiple projects and initiatives, producing quality deliverables on time

  • Experience developing reports, business requirement documentation, process flow diagrams, use cases and testing plans

  • Strong knowledge of web technology products and delivery methodologies

  • Familiarity with financial concepts and processes would be beneficial

  • Adapt to shifting priorities, multiple competing demands, ambiguity, and frequent change

  • Display a willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to new business requirements

  • Ability to learn and apply new information, skills, and processes quickly and build upon existing knowledge and skills

  • Must be able to function autonomously and as part of a virtual team

  • Must be willing to work extended hours from time to time
