The Role

As an Actuarial Valuation Intern, you will gain the opportunity to enhance your core skills and expand your actuarial knowledge as you perform data validation tests using our valuation software, prepare lists of test cases, and acquire firsthand experience in process improvement initiatives. While working with the Retirement Team, you will also be mentored alongside some of our identified leaders with the possibility to be converted to a full-time employee.

  • Validate and reconcile data

  • Generation of actuarial results and report preparation

  • Provide support for process improvement projects and initiatives

The Requirements

  • Penultimate graduating students with a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or any other related course

  • Willing to be a part of a Full-Time Internship Program for 3 months

  • Available to start by May, June, or July 2024

  • Extensive knowledge in Microsoft Excel, proficient in other Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Word, Powerpoint)

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Has a professional, client-focused approach to colleagues and assignments

  • Ability to organize, set priorities, and complete multiple projects within established deadlines
