Abbott Salesforce Administrator - Global Information Services in Taguig City, Philippines

The Salesforce Administrator will be a key contributor to the ongoing development of our salesforce.com landscape of multiple SFDC instances. The administrator will work as part of the Abbott Rapid Diagnostics (ARDx) CRM team including functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to help design and implement SFDC solutions in support of business initiatives. This role is part administrator, part Salesforce systems analyst and part release specialist. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our CRM platforms.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades

  • Serve as a primary system administrator for the ARDx Salesforce.com environments with 1000+ users

  • Part of a team responsible for the development landscape and DevOps tool set administration and support

  • Work closely with CRM solution architect

  • Work in support of the scrum teams.

  • Perform administrative functions including user account maintenance, workflow updates and other routine tasks.

  • Support project work including data load and verification of data through data loader and equivalent tools

  • When necessary, work with IT and business process owners to understand the need and determine the optimal way to enable new functionality and data requests.

  • Function as administrator for the operations tool chain

  • Support the salesforce environment strategy and deployment tasks

Skills Required:

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards

  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills

  • Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively

  • Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs

  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes

Experience Required:

  • Three to five years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator

  • Saleforce.com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified preferred

  • Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Developer certifications preferred

  • Source control tools such as Bitbucket experience preferred

  • JIRA experience preferred

  • ServiceNow experience preferred

  • Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment required

  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.

  • Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality

  • Strong data management abilities

  • A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion

  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements

  • Experience with data loader and Demand Tools preferred
