IBM Delivery Consultant in Taguig City, Philippines

Introduction

BM is seeking experienced and dynamic Consultant to work directly with customer accounts and to customize, extend and deploy IBM's API Connect software in customer environments.

The Consultant is a technical, customer-facing role having paramount impact on customers' experience with IBM's API Connect in customer environments. The position is responsible for an exciting range of projects solutions. The ideal candidate will have provided hands-on systems engineering capable of providing consulting services in complex environments.

Candidate will have excellent software and system design skills, including knowledge of web applications, Kubernetes, and Dockers in Linux and Windows environments, along with the ability to manage and support customized developments and implementations. Expertise around the IBM Cloud Pak for Integration, DataPower, App Connect Enterprise and MQ software will be a plus.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Delivery consultants provide world class services for clients based on the area of their specialty. These consultants combine deep technical expertise with consultative skills - such as problem solving, issue-based and hypothesis-based methodologies. They assist with solution engineering, but their primary focus is to deliver technical services to clients for the implementation and optimization of technology solutions, providing skills transfer and advising on best practices to promote skills self-sufficiency. Advises other professionals. Effectively utilize group dynamics. Negotiates to define approaches and goals.

Recognizes complex problems related to functional objectives. Applies creativity and judgment to developmental work on different projects within the business environment. Analyzes situations and implement solutions, or develop new system elements, procedures or processes.

  • Contribution/Leadership:

Provides ongoing technical/operational guidance to lead professional work teams, conducts special projects, or manages department(s) (national or international). Understands department/ functional mission and vision. Utilizes expertise to directly influence people outside department or function. Sometimes no precedent exists. Defines and decides objectives within specified business concept or project and may have responsibility for tools and assigned resources.

  • Impact on Business/Scope:

Accountable for department results and for activities and/or projects involving multi-functional teams.

Activities are subject to business measurements, impact customer satisfaction, and impact project costs or expenses. Regularly participates in overall functional program planning.
