About Us:

Tacoma Screw Products is a distribution company that sells industrial supplies, fasteners and tools to contractors, small and large businesses and individual retail customers since 1946. We have a unique blend of Wholesale and Retail Customers. Because of this, are not open during the typical "Retail Hours". We are closed on nights, Sunday, and Holidays.

 

A day in the life:

Perform an array of functions in a warehouse setting that may include receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packaging and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

This position involves frequent walking, pushing/pulling, repetitive bending, stooping, heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds), and occasional climbing on ladders to reach product in shelves.

Experience and Skills:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Solid math, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to meet or exceed minimum productivity standards
  • Warehouse and Forklift experience is desired but not required

     

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand & walk for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work rapidly at a constant pace for the entire shift
Benefits

*Pay Information: *Full Time Position: 40 Hours per week

  • Starting Pay: $18.50 per hour
  • Eligible for pay increase after 90 days of employment
  • Entire Pay Range: $18.50 - $26
  • Discretionary Year End Bonus
