Description Per Diem OT Tacoma, WA CHI Franciscan Rehabilitation Hospital opened the doors of this new 60-bed hospital to serve patients recovering from strokes, brain and spinal-cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions. The hospital is a joint venture partnership between Virginia Mason Franciscan Health and Lifepoint Healthcare. JOB SUMMARY: The Occupational Therapist (OT) provides occupational therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments as prescribed by a licensed physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical disability. Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
