Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $22 - $22 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.

What you'll be doing as a Food Service Worker:

  • Work under the supervision of the Food Service Manager in preparing and serving meals

  • Prepare and serve meals including special requests and needs

  • Take orders and help clients choose meals

  • Follow established procedures and utilize programs/proprietary software to manage meals, dietary plans or restrictions, schedules and supplies

  • Serve/deliver meals and collect food carts, trays and utensils after meals for cleaning/sanitizing

  • Store food according to food safety protocols

  • Clean and sanitize food and kitchen equipment and workstations

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients/customers

Available shifts:

Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day) , 2nd Shift (Evening) , Weekends

Job requirements:

  • Prior food preparation, cooking or serving experience preferred 

  • Knowledge of basic math skills 

  • Valid food handler's card (PeopleReady will help provide training to obtain this)

  • Must be knowledgeable of proper food handling and able to carry up to 35 lbs. of meals/food trays

  • Background check and drug screening required
