TERRA STAFFING GROUP CMM Quality Inspector | Aerospace in Tacoma, Washington

An established aerospace company in Tacoma is looking to add CMM Quality Inspector to their growing team.

This company provides manufacturing and assembly of complex, mission-critical component systems. With multiple facilities, this location specializes in Complex, Mission Critical Hard Metals, and high-speed aluminum machining.

CMM Quality Inspector Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CMM and advanced inspection equipment, making edits when necessary.
  • Trouble shoot and improve CMM programs or processes as needed.
  • Examine and measure quality on close tolerance aerospace machined parts and components.
  • Perform in-process, 1st part, and final dimensional inspection of parts and assemblies. 
  • Document non-conformance rejection tags.

You will be successful in this role if you have strong CMM and quality experience.

*Schedule: *Monday -- Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm

CMM Quality Inspector Qualifications:

  • Over 5 years of CMM Programming/Quality Inspecting experience.
  • Experience using PC-DMIS or Modus CMM software.
  • Experience using inspection equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and geometric tolerancing.

*Compensation: *$23.00 -- 36.00/hour.
