The Opportunity:

We have an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join our Forest Resources team in Tacoma Washington.

Responsibilities to include:

Review daily wood receipts: weight ticket review reconciliation and correction; sales ticket review and reconciliation, review and correction of errors

Maintain good order and accounting/auditing standards

Data entry into various software programs for tickets, account payables and receivables

Ordering of office supplies and equipment for region personnel

Review of required insurance and certifications

Prepare correspondence, presentations, analysis, and reconciliation reports

Sorting through data-logs and tickets to make sure reconciles match

Prepare pivot tables and spreadsheets

Point of contact for contractors, external, and internal customers

What You Need to Succeed:

3+ years of experience as an Administrative Assistant with strong analytical/operational responsibilities

High School graduate or equivalent; Bachelors’ degree in business is a plus

MS-Office (Very strong skills in MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Able to use MS-Excel as a part of daily business activity; knowledge of Qlikview, wood accounting and scale systems is a plus

Must have strong technical ability and excellent written and verbal communications skills

Focused, reliable, organized, and very strong attention to detail

Must be able to work in a very fast paced environment

Must be able to work independently and work well under pressure

Must be able to manage multiple and varied projects simultaneously

Must be detailed oriented

Bookkeeping experience a plus (AR/AP/GL)

Must have strong professionalism on the telephone as the point of contact for both external and internal customers.
