About the Role

Validity is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Website Manager based in our Sao Paulo office to join our Information Technology team. This pivotal role is responsible for the optimization, security, availability, and general maintenance of Validity's websites. The ideal candidate will ensure that our digital presence is robust, secure, and always online, providing the best possible experience for our users. As a Website Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining our reputation for excellence in the digital domain. This position requires an individual who is detail-oriented, responsive, and ready to tackle challenges in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication, content management, and collaboration with our global team.

Position Duties and Responsibilities

  • Website Security: Safeguard the website against potential threats and vulnerabilities. Regularly update security protocols and conduct security audits.

  • General Maintenance: Perform regular updates to the website content, structure, and technology through WordPress. Ensure that all links, images, and content are current and that the website adheres to web standards and accessibility guidelines.

  • Website Availability: Ensure high availability and reliability of the website. Monitor server and website uptime, perform regular backups, and swiftly address any downtime issues.

  • Emergency Response: Act as the first point of contact for any emergency issues related to the website. Be on-call to quickly diagnose and resolve problems that may arise, minimizing downtime and disruption.

  • Website Optimization: Implement strategies to improve website speed, performance, and user engagement using WordPress as the primary content management system. Monitor website analytics via Google Analytics and adjust web design and content based on performance metrics and SEO best practices.

  • Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with the marketing, revenue operations, and content teams to align website functionality and aesthetics with company goals. Provide regular reports on website performance, security status, and maintenance activities, utilizing Google Analytics for in-depth analysis.

    Required Experience, Skills, and Education

  • Proven experience as a Web Master or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of managed websites. Specific experience with WordPress is required.

  • Expert knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP), with a strong emphasis on WordPress CMS platforms, and responsive design.

  • Demonstrated experience with website optimization tools and strategies, including SEO best practices, and proficiency in Google Analytics.

  • Strong understanding of website security protocols and tools, with specific knowledge of securing WordPress sites.

  • Familiarity with web server technologies and hosting environments.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently.

  • Availability to be on-call for emergencies outside of standard working hours.

  • Proficiency in English is required for effective communication, content management, and collaboration.

    Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
