Together we deliver systems all around the world and the markets for our products are constantly growing.Position SummaryThe Warehouse Supervisor will play a vital role on the Material Management Team. This position will have a direct impact on the day-to-day operation of the receiving and warehousing teams.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupervise receiving and warehouse personnel and assign daily activities as needed.Establish, execute, and administer policies and procedures for warehouse activities.Promote timely and accurate bin transfers to support inventory accuracy.Ensure that materials are being received correctly and that they are put away promptly and in the appropriate locations.Coordinate with production and production control to make sure they have the materials needed to meet the production schedule.Assist in the hiring and training of new warehouse employees.Communicate current and potential stock outs to the appropriate teams for resolution.Implement First in First Out (FIFO) process in warehouse area.Align individual goals for self and others with work area/functional goals.Work with staff to maximize warehouse space and efficiency.Identify opportunities for long-term change within own work team and work towards implementation.Encourage safe work habits for all employees.Provide support for various teams in operations including but not limited to Manufacturing, Production Control, Inventory Control, Purchasing, Accounting, Engineering and R&D.Other duties as assignedQualifications and Education RequirementsHigh School Diploma/GED with 6-10 years of warehouse experience.
