Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPV IT SPEC (SYSADMIN), Position Description Number D1648P01 and is part of the 174TH ATKW, National Guard. This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants. Responsibilities As a SUP IT SPEC (SYSADMIN), GS-2210-12, you will serve as a first level supervisor over a group of Information Technology Specialists performing a variety of systems administration and customer support work for an intelligence unit. The highest level of work supervised is at the GS-11 level. The work of the organization impacts the ability of unit personnel to retrieve and send mission critical intelligence data. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: ENLISTED SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel. Experience supervising a group of Information Technology Specialists performing a variety of systems administration and IT customer support duties in support of an intelligence unit. Experience with systems and services used in the automated acquisition, storage, manipulation, management, movement, control, display, switching, interchange, transmission, assurance, or reception of information. Information technology includes computers, network components, peripheral equipment, software, firmware, services, and related resources. Education Education requirements - Not applicable for this position Additional Information Superior Qualifications and Special Needs Pay-setting Authority may be considered for this position. TAG is final approval authority for incentive programs (applicable to newly appointed federal employees or those with a 90 day break in service). Recruitment, Retention and Relocation Incentive may be authorized up to 25% of base pay for a max of 4 years pending TAG approval. THIS POSITION CONDUCTS INFORMATION ASSURANCE FUNCTIONS. THE INCUMBENT SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE CERTIFICATION PROGRAM AND WILL BE REQUIRED TO OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN CERTIFICATION.
