$500 sign on bonus

POSITION PURPOSE

· Under the direction of the Nutritional Services Kitchen Coordinator, the Nutritional Services

Aide – Tray Assembly assists in preparation and set-up of meals and services to patients,

visitors and guests, assumes responsibility for cleaning and sanitation as related to specific

assignment area, maintains records and related paperwork as required for job assignment and

maintains a polite and courteous attitude in meeting the needs of our service group.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Demonstrates ability to prepare food work stations and subsequent assembly of patient

trays and nourishments

· Ensures that work stations are cleaned and sanitized during and at the conclusion of shift,

following established policies and guidelines

· Adheres to infection control and food handling procedures as outlined in department standards

· Recognizes the importance of proper food handling temperatures; ensures that temperatures are

adequate

· Demonstrates ability to safely operate equipment related to position; reports maintenance

needs and malfunctions to Coordinators

· Recognizes the importance of good attendance and promptness and strives to minimize

absences and tardiness

· Exhibits a commitment to teamwork and a positive attitude when change is needed

· Willingly accepts job assignments and changes in routines as necessary for efficient operation

of the department

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

· High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous food service experience preferred

· Strong interpersonal skills

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

· Medium work. Requires continual and repetitive motions including lifting, bending, stooping and twisting. Prolonged walking and standing.

Work hours will vary.

Pay Range: $16.70 - $24.20

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
