PA/NP Critical Care Medicine
Seeking Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a well-established group of providers working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team to treat critically ill patients. The PA/NP works under the supervision of a physician in an ICU to diagnose and treat life threatening conditions in a fast-paced high acuity unit. Must have good communication skills, work well with others, be self-motivated, and be able to think critically in high stress environment. Responsibilities
Qualifications
Admission history and physical, inpatient consultation, daily progress notes.
Procedures: Central line, arterial line, PA catheter, transvenous pacemaker, and chest tube placement.
Lead inpatient code team.
NYS licensed PA or NP (acute care preferred). DEA Eligible.
Prior experience in critical care preferred.
Acute care experience required.
New grads will be considered.

Medium work/light work: must be able to lift 25 pounds occasionally. Will require ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, squat and reach.
