SUNY Upstate Medical University Neuroanatomist/Research Instructor/Research Assistant Professor in Syracuse, New York

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will join a vibrant group of anatomy educators and contribute to the educational mission of the school’s medical and health professions programs in the areas of Neuroanatomy and Gross Anatomy. Teaching activities include flipped lectures, case discussions, team-based learning and laboratory activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates must have a Doctoral degree (MD, PhD, DO or equivalent). Experience teaching Neuroanatomy, preferably within a medical or health professions school, and have evidence of excellence in teaching. Ability to work collegially with a variety of faculty educators to develop interdisciplinary curriculum content is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional knowledge and experience in Gross Anatomy instruction and dissection is highly desirable. Experience in instructional modalities that incorporate interactive learning, team-based, problem-based, or case-based learning is also desirable.

Work Days:

Monday - Friday with Possible Weekends
