Century Linen & Uniform is the largest and most up-to-date commercial laundry operation in NY.

We are currently seeking Maintenance Mechanics for our Taylor St. Syracuse Facility.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Mechanics is responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining large industrial textile processing equipment.

Skills

  • Entry-level to Mid-level Mechanical Skills

  • Entry-level to Mid-level Electrical Skills

  • Ability to work in a Team Environment

  • Ability to learn quickly

  • Some previous mechanical or electrical experience

  • Welding a plus (not Required)

Candidates with a strong Automotive, Appliance or Electronics Repair background welcomed.

Military Mechanics - Veterans with Mechanical skills welcomed.

Essential Functions

  • Installs, repairs and performs preventative maintenance on industrial processing equipment

  • Troubleshoots issues.

  • Responds to maintenance requests

  • Provides emergency repairs of production equipment.

  • Looks to improve maintenance processes.

  • Follows written and verbal instructions and performs other tasks as directed by supervision.

Our Maintenance & Engineering team plays a crucial role in ensuring extended equipment life by predicting and preventing downtime and ensuring safe operation for our production team.
