SUNY Upstate Medical University Institutional Research Analyst in Syracuse, New York

Job Summary:

Working collaboratively with the Director of the Office of Evaluation, Assessment and Research, the Institutional Research Analyst will participate in activities related to student assessment, program evaluation, and accreditation across SUNY Upstate's four colleges. This position assists in the analysis and presentation of data that informs academic decision making, including assessment implications, accreditation reviews, and strategic planning. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with two years of experience collecting and analyzing statistical data required. Ability to synthesize and summarize quantitative data into meaningful information and to communicate results. Must be proficient with spreadsheet, database website content-management software. Must possess excellent writing skills and be detail oriented.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree and three or more years of experience collecting and analyzing statistical data. Working knowledge of quantitative data analysis and reporting techniques. Experience with data visualization reporting tools.

Work Days:

M-F 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
