Direct Support Professional - Residential

Relief Openings (Days, Evenings and Overnights)!!

Arc of Onondaga is actively seeking dedicated, ambitious Direct Support Professionals to join our Residential Team!

Our Residential Direct Support Professionals (Relief) have the privilege of providing person-centered services to people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities on an "as needed" basis. In this position, you will be responsible but not limited to providing hands-on assistance, along with instruction and guidance, while supporting people as they work to reach their goals and fullest potential.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED

  • Valid NYS Driver's License (preferred)

  • Has a passion for working with and creating positive, impactful relationships in the lives of the people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

  • Exhibits positive approaches that provide encouragement, mentoring and instruction resulting in effectively achieving and maintaining independence and integration within the community.
