SUNY Upstate Medical University Clinical Research Associate 1 in Syracuse, New York

Job Summary:

This position will be responsible for Coordinating and overseeing medication therapy for clinical research studies. Additional duties include but are not limited to: direct involvement in the receipt, storage, monitoring, and dispensing of study medication. Oversee the documentation of necessary study information. Closely interact with clinical researchers, research administration, and pharmacy staff to ensure proper study medication application and oversight. Review study protocols for pharmacy requirements, including medication and supply needs, medication preparation requirements, and pharmacy fee assignments. Interact with study sponsors and monitors to fulfill study oversight requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

A Bachelors degree in a related field and two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience as required. Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior clinical research experience related to investigational medications
