SUNY Upstate Medical University Bursar Office Specialist in Syracuse, New York

Job Summary:

This Bursar Office Specialist will support the Bursar's Office with job duties including but are not limited to: Processing checks and positive pay for the following accounts: College, Faculty Student Association, Student Activities, & Hospital and Parking. Processes checks and deposits for the Student Activities department. Responsible for the end of day reporting & balance of all payments. Responsible for processing all financial aid and scholarships related to the College of Health Professions. Responsible for assisting students and other departments at the counter, over the phone or through emails with questions regarding tuition bills, payments and financial aid. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Higher Education or related field with 2 years of related experience required. Excellent written/oral communication and computer skills required.
