SUNY Upstate Medical University Associate Professor in Syracuse, New York

Job Summary: The Department of Surgery is recruiting a highly accomplished investigator to join the faculty as the Connolly Endowed Professor of lung cancer research. The successful candidate will collaborate with an outstanding multidisciplinary team of Medical, Radiation and Thoracic Surgery Oncologists to develop a synergistic translational lung cancer research program. The position offers a competitive salary with a generous start up package and access to state of the art research facilities. A basic science faculty appointment with access to graduate programs @ SUNY Upstate is also available.

Minimum Qualifications:

PhD, MD or equivalent doctoral degree; Postdoctoral training and expertise in lung cancer. Five years of related research experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with multidisciplinary teams. Excellence in communication skills

Work Days:

Monday-Friday, Days with occasional after-hours and weekends
