Syracuse University Associate Director of Development in Syracuse, New York

Reporting to the Senior Director of Development in the Whitman School of Management, the Associate Director of Development will be responsible for creating and implementing a strategy for identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding donors. This individual will focus on building a portfolio of donors with a wide range of capacity and inclination to make gifts in the $25,000-$100,000+ range from alumni, parents and friends. The Associate Director will engage with prospects in person and virtually.

The Associate Director of Development will coordinate their outreach with the Whitman School teams and with Regional Advancement, especially Leadership Giving and the Regional Team, in Central AEA. The Associate Director will be essential in developing the major gift pipeline as well as working with a portfolio of major gift donors.

Key metrics include number of face-to-face/virtual visits, number and dollar amount of solicitations, acquiring, renewing and upgrading leadership level annual gifts, major gift referrals and increased alumni giving participation.
