SUNY Upstate Medical University Administrative Assistant-Upstate Foundation in Syracuse, New York

Job Summary:

The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support for the Upstate Foundation Operations team through positive customer service on the phone, in person, and through the mail. Duties include but are not limited to: Generating letters, editing mailing lists, performing mail merges, creating and editing excel spreadsheets, reviewing documentation for accuracy and making any necessary corrections. Candidate will mail and track pledge payment reminders, provide event and campaign support, and provide data entry support for constituent records in Raisers Edge. Will also assist Senior Director of Operations as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates degree and one year of secretarial/administrative experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent written/oral communication skills, customer service, organizational, interpersonal, proofreading and computer skills also required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Raisers Edge a plus.

Work Days:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
