We are seeking Activities Aides to join our dynamic team! Full-time, Part timepositions available schedule can be flexible based on availability. Activities Aides develop connections with nursing home residents ranging in age from 45-104 years old. Bring meaning to the lives of people living in a our nursing home by leading small group and one-on-one activities and games.

This position requires a lot of creative energy, passion for working with older adults.

Job Duties

  • Implement activities programs for Residents;

  • focus on individual interests

  • Work directly with Residents on units; with/without direct supervision

  • Organize and obtain supplies and equipment as requested

  • Assist recreation specialists & set up program areas as needed

  • Keep daily attendance and document residents' participation in activities

  • Assist residents to program location and return residents to appropriate units Be familiar with established emergency procedures REQUIREMENTS:

  • Positive attitude and energy is a must!

  • PCA/CHHA certified applicants are encouraged to apply but not required

  • 1-2 years experience with activities in a healthcare setting a plus

  • Previous experience with Geriatric population preferred

  • Strong computer skills necessary

  • Ability to work effectively as a team member
