The Senior Global Marketing Excellence Manager is responsible for advancing the learning and development of marketing best practices for the technology and innovation (TI) team. This includes the development, training, and execution of comprehensive marketing operating mechanisms including strategic marketing plans, marketing business planning and new product launch plans. This position will liaison between the TI organization and all cross functional organization including R&D, upstream, and downstream marketing teams. Reporting to the Global Strategic Marketing Director, this role will also be responsible for developing marketing acumen skills training and development.

How You'll Create Impact

  • Develop, integrate, and publish best marketing practices, tools and resources into global portfolio and new product development process.

  • Provide training and coaching on global portfolio and project management operating mechanisms.

  • Coordinate all business unit key milestone reviews and reporting.

  • Develop annual marketing planning process and provide content guidance that feeds into the broader strategic plan.

  • Leverage market development tools to identify new customer-centric market opportunities that cater to the changing healthcare landscape and create competitive advantage.

  • Establish marketing skills curriculum with supporting workshops and resources to standardize best marketing practices such as, market segmentation, message development, brand creation, pricing, and demand planning.

  • Coordinate with global team leaders to identify regional marketing needs, coordinate organizational alignment, and ensure consistent execution.

  • Develop process for identifying key stakeholders and capturing voice of customer, user needs, business needs and priorities to develop meaningful solutions that create value.

  • Create metrics to measure marketing effectiveness and a feedback loop to enhance marketing practices.

Your Background

  • B.A. /B.S. in marketing, other relevant 4-year degree. MBA preferred.

  • 7-10 years of marketing experience, ideally in the healthcare field.

  • Experience working with traditional marketing concepts, marketing and portfolio strategies, product promotion, market analysis, and forecasting.

  • Experience in both marketing and medical device product development engineering is preferred.

  • Experience in technology and/or smart devices preferred.

  • Experience in an orthopedics market preferred.

Travel Expectations

Up to 20%
