Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 3 years of experience in product management, including multiple examples of landing consumer-facing product impact.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales, finance, and other stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in the consumer facing Payment products and features development.

  • Ability to balance technical, business, and organizational perspectives.

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and investigative skills, with the ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (e.g., writing Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and strategy documents, building and delivering presentations, including to leadership).

The Payments Identity team is a pillar for identity management across Google's products and services. We manage user provisioning, verification, and transactions, ensuring seamless experiences across Google's entire ecosystem. We power essential features in Google Pay, Google Ads, Google Cloud, Google Play, YouTube, Shopping, and more. Our work is central to Payments privacy, portals, and seamless customer management. We collaborate with Google's core Identity team to deliver unified identity solutions. Our global reach supports Google products.

Whether it is paying online with Autofill, using tap and pay in stores, or using the Google Pay app, the Payments team at Google is focused on making payments simple, seamless, and secure. In addition to consumer payment technologies, the Payments team also powers the money movement between Google and its consumers and businesses.

  • Create opportunities to drive the growth of Google by creating seamless user experience frameworks, including commerce and non-commerce user models across all products at Google.

  • Analyze buyer/seller needs across Google's B2B, C2B, and Marketplace businesses. Map user/data flows to optimize buyer, seller, and payer experiences.

  • Assess payments industry trends (i.e., technology, regulations, competition) and translate to strategy/opportunity for Google.

  • Crystallize insights/solutions in product requirements and drive solutions to market in collaboration with Engineering, UX, Product Management, Finance, Legal teams, Privacy and cross-product area partners.

  • Partner with other Google product areas on payments solution strategy and market entry to drive business growth and market expansion.
