Key job responsibilities

• Lead GTM to orchestrate sales motions for sales, marketing, partner, product, training, and professional services teams to accelerate adoption of your aligned technology domain.

• Leverage your deep domain expertise to create best in class field enablement and sales strategy.

• Support field teams in solution building for high priority customers.

• Bring market signals back to product teams to drive innovation on AWS product roadmaps.

• Own reporting and planning cadences to AWS executives on GTM plan execution.

• Demonstrate thought leadership and be able to credibly represent AWS at industry events, conferences, symposiums, etc.

WWSO teams include business development, specialist sales, and technical solutions architecture. As part of WWSO, you’ll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. The WWSO (Worldwide Specialist Organization) GenAI & AI/ML team positions AWS as the best place to run GenAI & AI/ML workloads. Our team helps customers become data-driven organizations and implement GenAI & AI/ML capabilities at scale.

As part of the team you will lead our GenAI strategy and go-to-market activities for the Australia and New Zealand Business. This is an individual contributor role that will interact with the commercial business. This team is comprised of specialists and domain experts across the complete data and AI value chain.

Melbourne, AUS | Sydney, NSW, AUS

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant GTM, Sales, or Consulting experience

  • 7+ years of GenAI or AIML technology domain experience

  • BA/BS degree required

Preferred Qualifications

  • History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises.

  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.

  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.

  • Strong written communication skills.

  • Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.

  • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.

  • AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise.

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.

  • Computer Science /relevant degree and/or experience highly desired.
