This position requires a customer-centric approach with tried skills in lead generation, pipeline management, platform selling and negotiation. Effective communication and a strong knowledge of market trends will assist in understanding the impact on business needs and travel solutions. This position will represent the Egencia brand through verbal, written and formal presentations to potential customers at all levels.

The individual must be a great teammate, biased to action, self-motivated, highly organized, high energy, integrity, humility and can function effectively in an unstructured environment.

What You’ll do on a Typical Day :

  • Prospecting to identify opportunities and grow an active pipeline

  • Ability to conduct discovery with key decision makers to understand product capabilities and communicate the value and differentiation of a service offering in the market

  • Grow Egencia's portfolio and revenue with new customers by playing an active role in value proposition selling and contract negotiation

  • Once requirements are clearly identified, promote competitive advantages and Egencia’s outstanding value proposition through proposals, RFI/RFPs and presentations

  • Responsible for contract closing and implementation of customers with the implementation team

  • Selling the right solution to ensure that the customer transitions from implementation to trade

  • Sign profitable business to meet quarterly goals in line with Egencia’s pricing schedules

  • Work collaboratively and establish relationships with internal teams

What We’re looking for :

  • Excellent communication skills, including written and oral.

  • Strong listening skills to interpret the customers’ needs.

  • Proven sales experience in pipeline management, including negotiation skills.

  • Ability to effectively address key decision-makers in a very competitive and innovative environment.

  • Minimum five years Sales experience with a consistent track record in hitting quarterly sales targets.

  • Strong commitment to both a high quality of work and service to customers in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient level of experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word, Salesforce.

  • Position requires some travel, sometimes to international locations.

  • A good knowledge of the corporate travel industry and/or platform selling (desired but not essential).

  • History of exceeding sales targets in a SaaS and/or B2B Travel consultative environment is required.

  • Actively prospects to build a pipeline of opportunities, prioritizing by potential value, sales cycle length, and win probability.

  • Exhibits professional and technical knowledge by attending industry events, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

  • Demonstrates a competitive, positive, driven attitude, quickly adapts to different situations, and recovers from setbacks.

  • Proactively focuses on results, outcomes, and achievements, persistently overcoming obstacles as they arise

  • Tenaciously networks to establish, maintain, and expand business relationships and referral sources, including cold contacts.

  • Positions products and services to meet specific prospect needs and solicits feedback about the value of proposed solutions.
