Job Description

Purpose:

The Field Consignment Coordinator is responsible for managing the stock count cycle for consignment and boot working in collaboration with Territory managers to minimise E&O risk and maximise sales growth.

Responsibilities:

Managing the stock count cycle for consignment and boot in the allocated region within BD policy and timeline.

  • Achieve 100% completion for the cycle

  • Minimising reconciliation burden for consignment team (ops) within the last 10 days of the month

  • Recognising anomalies and providing feedback to management

  • Is a conduit between sales and Operations and consignment to ensure record accuracy and validity

  • Utilise JDE track and trace product as part of reconciliation process

  • Work with SMs and TMs to obtain POs for items on the SQ report generated from the count cycle discrepancies within the month

Removal of all expired and short dated stock in line with policy aiming towards 0% expired stock in field.

  • Assess and recommend items that require replenishment in collaboration with TM and SM

  • Enable replenishment inline with above comment enabling sales growth

Conduct consignment and bootstock onboarding and offboarding for incoming and outgoing TMs inline with policy

  • Provide ongoing training for TMs on management of consignment and boot inline with policy

  • Conduct audits for bootstock and consignment as necessary in agreement with management

Minimise E&O risk by moving slow moving stock to appropriate locations and reviewing excess stock in consignment sites

  • Identification of slow moving and short expiry stock and the movement of inventory to fast moving accounts

  • Recommending specific accounts to move them to

  • Facilitates stock and inventory movements inline with policy.

  • Support implementation of promotional programs at consignment sites and within bootstock

Collaborate and contribute towards ongoing improvements to consignment, expiry and E&O management

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Demonstrated previous commercial experience in the healthcare industry preferred.

  • Must be enthusiastic, willing to take on new challenges whilst demonstrating both strong business acumen skills and excellent customer orientation.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated experience planning, managing and completing projects of moderate complexity.

  • Ability to influence and motivate others over whom they have no direct control or authority.

  • Self-starter with excellent time management able to prioritise and smoothly manage multiple tasks.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with others in cross functional setting.

  • Ability to analyse, interpret data and provide reports as required.

  • Sound computer skills required, particularly spreadsheets and word processing, experience with CRM programs an advantage.

  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
