The Women in Markets (Global Markets) program is targeted at penultimate or final year students who are interested in Global Markets, Client Relationship Management, Trading, Economics and Finance, and looking to pursue a career in Global Markets, at Citi.

The scholarship offers successful recipients a position on the 2024 Summer Internship Program, as well as a scholarship grant valued at $5,000 USD to contribute towards your course and educational fees.

Citi Markets and Securities Services buy and sell on behalf of clients. Our products and services include, but are not limited to:

*Foreign exchange (FX)

*Fixed income

*Equity and commodity products

*Treasury Trading

*Financing Solutions

As a Summer Analyst, you will take part in an 11-week rotational Summer Program in Sydney, providing you exposure to:

*In-depth classroom style training and education on a variety of Markets Products & fundamentals.

*Senior leadership and on-desk work experience; working with the best and brightest on the trading floor.

*1:1 support from a mentor and buddy who will help guide you on the program and show you the ropes.

*Formal and informal networking work social events including cohort catch ups and lunch & learn sessions.

*Pitching a presentation to your mentors and the senior leadership team at the end of the program.

The Women's Scholarship & Summer Analyst opportunity is designed to cater to each and everyone's different skillset and interests; from coding and quantitative rotations, through to to sales, relationship management & client facing rotations. We appreciate everyone has a different skillset and interest, and our program ensures you make the most of your passion and potential throughout the 11-weeks.

We are looking for the following...

*You are a results-oriented, driven student who is interested in learning more about global markets!

*You are a penultimate or final year student pursuing an Undergraduate/Masters degree in Australia or New Zealand

*Students with strong academic record from all disciplines, including but not limited to Commerce, Finance, STEM, Actuarial & Law.

*Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.

*You have demonstrated strong leadership; teamwork; and interpersonal skills through extra-curriculum activity.

*You are keen to learn more about the global economical landscape, or willing to provide an opinion or view on a topic of interest - regardless if you think it is right or not!
