Boehringer Ingelheim Marketing Assistant in Sydney, AU, Australia

The Position

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, we have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Marketing Assistant to be based in our head office in Sydney, NSW.

The purpose of this role is to assist the Product Marketing Team and coordinate the administrative functions of the relevant marketing teams, with a focus on the Cardio-Renal-Metabolic therapeutic area.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • General correspondence, filing and back-up for the designated Product Managers.

  • Coordinate the distribution of promotional and educational materials to the sales teams via external suppliers and internal staff.

  • Liaise with multiple agencies/suppliers, as required, in the coordination of the production, development and distribution of promotional materials.

  • Manage and maintain the internal customer databases and action marketing campaigns as required by the Product Managers.

  • Coordinate with external print and digital agencies the distribution of materials/mailings.

  • Manage the production and distribution of the cycle sales implementation briefs so they are produced according to the required timelines.

  • Manage the staging of symposia and promotional and educational HCP events for the Marketing team.

  • Coordinate the Company participation in trade displays via liaison with multiple scientific Societies and venues.

  • Arrange travel for internal staff and external HCPs attending Company conferences and advisory boards.

  • Organise trade displays, meeting forums or presentations, and liaise with key customers accordingly.

  • Prepare purchase requisitions as directed by the product managers and circulate for the appropriate authorisations.

  • Assist in implementation and co-ordination of CME programs.

  • Development of content to support certification of completion of CME for company supported CME

  • Provide administrative support for the other therapeutic areas when required.

Requirements

  • Experience in Marketing is preferred
