The Global Service Management team works in partnership with the regional teams, operational services leads and clients to ensure delivery of a stable and efficient service in the Workplace area for end user computing. As a Global Service Manager, you will be responsible for:
Maintain service strategy through expertise in end-user devices and digital workspace trends
Lead service consumption, regularly check service consumption versus demand plan and adjust the capacity plan as required.
Cost Management, budget controlling as well development and implementation of charging models for end user computing. Coordination, planning and control of internal investment process (Capex) as well operational expenses (Opex)
Lifecycle planning and budget validation for requested investments aligned with the bank’s technology strategy
Actively working alongside the local implementation partner in order to update and monitor business plans, to update cash flow forecasting models and capex initiatives and present it to partners
Proposing and running improvement initiatives bringing efficiency and increasing quality (governed i.e. via projects)
Implementing reviews of service quality, measuring performance variances, timely delivery of requests and communicating changes to the service offering
3-5 years’ experience in IT and Service Management, combining a broad understanding of IT infrastructure especially on workplace technology with cost management responsibilities and commercial orientation
As an excellent project manager you possess strong customer orientation, negotiation and interpersonal skills and you are fluent in English, German or any other languages are a plus
To ensure efficient progress, you keep things simple, you show patience and creativity and you handle conflicts
You bring a high level of integrity and self-motivation, and you feel comfortable in working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
You have very good reporting and presentation skills with deep knowledge of MS Excel, Power Point or SQL is a plus
Profound ITIL knowledge (ITIL-Foundation Certification mandatory, ITIL Intermediate will be beneficial).
