Summary: Registered Nurse Emergency Department 7 PM - 7 AM Description:

Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Maintains current RN Licensure with the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners. A RN sho is qualified by relevant training, experience and current competencies in general nursing care and emergency nursing. Maintain BLS and ACLS. PALS certificate preferred. Needs TNCC within 18 months of date of hire.

Primary Function: Perform the primary functions of a RN in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of all assigned patients on the unity during assigned shift. Is responsible for meeting the established standards of practice for the area for managing all assigned personnel, supplies and equipment and for promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments. The scope of care will include neonates to geriatric patients.
